I read an article/interview with M. Night Shyamalan about The Last Airbender and then I read comments on ONTD (because I hate myself apparently) and it just makes me so upset. I understand why soem people don't care (even though they should) but I just get so mad when I read the justifications. People actually defend the casting because "movies have to appeal to lots of different people." And that doesn't make them angry. Why aren't they mad that Hollywood is saying that we white people can't identify with people who aren't white? It makes me furious and insulted but they seem to think this is perfectly okay.

I also watched the finale of Doctor Who. It's so nice to watch a finale and not come away feeling emotionally drained. I pretty much loved it and continue to love Amy and Rory and Matt Smith. Also for the finale it felt rather small (no big villains just the main characters) but it worked so well. Also the Christmas Special promises an escaped Egyptian Goddess on the Orient Express in Space! Which sounds utterly delightful. And Space Florida! Absolutely the name I would give a beach planet.

I also loved when the Doctor said "I wear a fez now." For some reason it was delightful to me. But I think it comes with how much I love Matt Smith.
