I feel vaguely guilty watching the Opening Ceremonies. It was a very lovely ceremony but I can't help but think about way this legitimizes China and it's policies. I feel like at least some of the world leaders who threatened not to go to the ceremonies shouldn't have gone. I also wish that NBC's coverage of the ceremonies wasn't quite so sucktastic. We shouldn't miss things when you cut to a commercial, it happened 12 hours ago! You can pause the tape while you go to a break.

Also 08/08/08! All the numbers match! I love when that happens!
