brigid31I saw S.W.A.T yesterday and decided that it may not have been great movie but was okay. It just was not terribly effective. I mean when everyone is rooting for the bad guys (at least everyone I saw it with) the movie can't be that great. And they made Iggy the bad guy! That just isn't fair. (To make this more accessible-Danny from Sports Night or better yet I'll just say Josh Charles.) I may have been rooting for the bad guys because of that but also because they had a cool plan. They landed a plane on a bridge! It was cool. It was a big plus that I didn't always think that I hated Colin Farrell when I saw him onscreen so the movie must have been okay.
My real question is why were they always spitting. Was it supposed to show that they were manly men or something because it was really distracted. Just a lot of spitting. And at one point Colin Farrell just pukes for no reason. I guess that was to show how mainly he was. It was just wierd.
The main appeal of the movie was the Once Upon a Time in Mexico trailer and can I just say that I must see that movie. It looks awesome. Johnny Depp. Antonio Banderas. Salma Hayek. Cheech. I've just got to see it. Add in the gorgeous scenery and the awesome looking plot and I am so there. I can't wait.
