I just watched Bowling for Columbine and have many reasons why I think it's wonderful. And I'll probably share them all at some time in the future. Right now I'm just going to advise anyone who hasn't seen this documentary yet to see it. It's probably available in most video stores or from Netflix and is well worth the rental.

Anyway what I really wanted to say was something I never thought I'd say. Matt Stone (the co-creator of South Park)is brilliant. Not for South Park, but for his actual opinions on the world. He really is way smarter than anyone probably gives him credit for. I have decided he is a freaking genius and will tell everyone I know this. I'm not being at all ironic when I say this. I mean it.

Matt Stone is a genius! And a Math genius (http://www.everything2.com/index.pl?node=Matt%20Stone), at that. He was a math major in college, and apparently he was taking Trig in the sixth grade. That's some serious brain action going on. I always wish Trey would hush and let Matt talk more in interviews.

I haven't seen BfC yet, so I can't comment on that, except to say I'm definitely going to be seeing it soon. I think it's on PPV this month.

Anyone who can do math qualifies as a super genius in my (non math doing) world. But Matt really makes some good points about High School. It left me wishing that every school counselor had studied under him. Or he made a video for use in school or something.
