I really did enjoy Die Hard. It was a great action movie with many things that blew up in improbable ways. I did end up caring more about the villian than I was meant to (but he's Seth Bullock! I love Seth Bullock!) but it didn't make the movie any less kickass. I was shocked with the sort of cavalier attitude that was adopted toward women in the movie though. Specifically Seth's girlfriend fellow terrorist. After she dies Bruce makes a remark that explicitly compares her to a hooker. I thought that the line went too far. It was really very nasty and since there are only three women in the movie really (Mai the terrorist, one FBI person who is flat out called stupid, and Lucy McClane) it is obnoxious that something like this is considered okay. I guess I should have expected things like that but still.

Also I think Bruce Willis really likes the word "Jerkoff."

I saw Pirates!!! Still amused that the monkey blew up Singapore.

I think Bruce Willis really likes the word "Jerkoff."

If he were from Pittsburgh, the word would be "Jagoff."

Yeah Pirates! You stayed until after the credits right? Because the scene at the end is one that really makes the movie IMO.

Yeah, I was smart enough to stay until after the credits this time. Of course, in my own defense, I didn't know about the scene after the credits in PoTC 2. But anyway...yeah. Movie was soooooo good. *has no idea why people still say the second one is better*

This one was about a 1,000 times better than number two. Mainly because I thought number two sucked and was boring and this one was much less boring me to death.

I liked the second one...until the writers ran into a wall about halfway through and then had no idea what to do. At least, that's what it felt like. This one? Came full circle...absolutely brilliant.
