I was watching the Buffy movie just now and it hit me that Hilary Swank has two Oscars. TWO!

Also since BFleck is in the film for one second it has TWO Academy Award winners in it.

The strange thing about the movie is that most of the time it feels really far from Buffy, the tone is all wrong, but sometimes a character will say a line and it sounds like something from the show. Also Joss is fond of the white party dress with leather jacket look isn't he?

I think between the Buffy movie and The Next Karate Kid, I'll always be weirded out about Hilary's Oscar success.

I love the Buffy movie so much I want to take it behind the middle school and get it pregnant. I've always thought it was strange that I loved the movie so much that I saw it in the theatre and obsessed over it as a kid, but I didn't get into the series until the 6th season. What's wrong with me? They're both such a delight and it's true that, even though the movie and series are very different, they definitely have a similar flavour.

I didn't see the movie until after I was already in love with the show. I'll never love it as much as the show but it's still pretty good and has Luke Perry!

Hilary's Oscar success is a complete mystery especially since all I could think when she was on screen was "What a bad actress you are!"

Sometimes, when I'm watching Dirty Sexy Money (which I know you don't dig) I think about how Joss hates Donald Sutherland's living guts for how the movie turned out. I loved the movie so much before the show, and it does have Joss flavored moments to be sure, but ultimately it is but a shadow of what it could (and ended up) being.

Is it wrong that I think of Luke Perry primarily as Malcolm Jamal Warner's post-apocalyptic boyfriend?

Everytime I see Donald Sutherland all I can think is how Joss hates him so very much! The movie is a shadow of the greatness of the show but every once in awhile it shocks me by sounding so much like Joss.

There is nothing wrong with that line of thinking. I mean it is true.
